But if the vibe [director Zak] Hilditch wants 'Rattlesnake' to go for is in the vicinity of short tales for long drives, he has accomplished his mission. While the exact events of Rattlesnake might have made for a good short story or hour-long episode of TV, they wear thin when stretched out to feature length - even when said feature runs just under an hour and a half.
