I am 65 and know i won’t live to see this happen, so how about a video game of “We are Bob”? But you have to be careful about sitting with him when you drink that beer, because when he gets going on a story, and even with alcohol, it'll be enough to put you to sleep. I can tell you right now, if I would have woken up like Bob did I would have freaked and they would have pulled the plug!!

A fun romp of a SF space adventure. Because the universe is full of nasties, and trespassers make them mad – very mad. Book 2 is "For We Are Many", coming out in March/2017, and book 3, "All These Worlds", coming out in June.Two more. Sometimes I just want to read (or in this case listen) to something really fun. I also found the anthropological work performed by one of the Bobs to be irritating and mono-focused on just the males of the alien species, as has happened all too often on earth. The lead scientist charged with bringing Bob online is Dr. Landers.
I've been swimming with him in Master's Swim Club for four or five years. Loved it! When he wakes up over 100 years later, he's without any physical body, essentially just a computer program ... but a very smart, self-aware one. He is also the only one who reliably plays The Pun Game with me, until I laugh so hard I can't swim. You can tell he means to be interesting, but the dry delivery and too many irrelevant details leave people glassy-eyed.I think I would have never found this book on my own - and my life would have been the poorer for it! Well worth th read. And two, the existence of artificial intelligence. It manages to be both reasonable and believable and incredibly farfetched at the same time.
