Snoke recruits Ezra, but not in the role of master / apprentice like sith lore or like Maul tempted him with - Snoke will act more like a teacher of sorts to Ezra, probing him for information on the state of the galaxy - sending him out on missions, helping him excel to lofty positions and reporting back with the intricacies of both the political and spiritual climate of the galaxy.
We'll see if any of it pans out, but I loved it.Thanks dude! The point is, Ezra cannot be finished at the conclusion of Star Wars Rebels. Alpha will be closing on March 31. In terms of Kanan, i can't really see him serving a purpose beyond the timeline of Rebels. Also, if Ezra located the first Jedi temple and gave the info to Luke, it would undermine Luke's lengthy search throughout the galaxy and his reason for being MIA all those years following the massacre at his academy. Ezra is going dark you can see that slowly it's played upon and would make sense if he is taken over or encounters Snoke. We know that Ezra went to the Unknown Regions and has been there for the events of the OT and after. I say this because I've seen some crazy fan theories that never match up … And what happened to Ahsoka, the former apprentice of Anakin Skywalker? Ezra will be instrumental background character in formation of the First Order - seeing as how he will still have a beef with both the New Republic and the Resistance, since the two are the off spring of the Rebellion, and technically the First Order won't be the same Empire that Ezra fought against, its his chance to start new - Led to believe he was important to the creation of the First Order, he will have a stake to avenge his family through the eradication of the New Republic and the Resistance. It makes sense for his character, much like Obi-wan and Han Solo, to follow a similar arc of rediscovering his usefulness and becoming a sacrifice for the greater good. To put a powerful, yet susceptible, Jedi like Ezra in the Unknown Regions at a time that we know Snoke (who was apparently around during the PT) was active makes me feel that it could really help connect some stories and make the canon universe feel like it's one interconnected universe. Both these plot threads are being intentionally left open for follow on stories, but I think we get Snoke's in IX (if ever) and Ezra/Thrawn in something else.I would definitely be fine with that! Yoda contacts Ezra via the force, but it also seems unlikely that Ezra will discover Yoda’s place of exile during a huge turning point in the galaxy when having a very powerful Jedi Master might serve some advantage. It is a curated space to talk about additions to canon in a larger perspective—incorporating analysis of the story being told and the real life factors around it in order to best theorize what comes next. Does Hera and Kanan’s child have Force abilities?
We can only hope he walks the path of Luke, not Anakin. The interconnection of Star Wars Rebels with the cinematic universe has only increased our fan theories and speculations, much to our delight. I believe we will see Ezra in Episode VIII, portrayed by Benicio Del Toro. He was dead set on recruiting him due to his lineage, being the grandson of Anakin Skywalker AKA Darth Vader.I could see what you mean there.

Of course Kanan also with Ezra go to find the first Jedi Temple and then have a Obi-wan - Anakin moment but Kanan kills Ezra and Kanan leaves behind a holocon with the location of the first jedi temple in it that is later found. Its very possible for Ezra to be motivated for seek out the origins of the jedi and hunt for the first temple... but Ezra (and Kanan for that matter) have limited information on the Jedi order as it is, especially if we're expecting Kanan to be out of the picture sooner than later.
According to their report, this will be for an upcoming Disney+ show and not The Mandalorian. Remember death to a Jedi is not the end so just because a character dies does not mean their story or path with the force is over. I'm just curious now who the other apprentice was.New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be castStar Wars is an American epic space opera franchise, created by George Lucas and centered around a film series that began with the eponymous 1977 movie.Press J to jump to the feed. It's just good storytelling. So I don't know why I haven't found anyone post this theory online, though I know I can't be the only one thinking it. What message would Disney be sending out to many of its younger audience members if they grow and develop a character like Ezra, who is still very much a KID, place him in a new family (the Ghost Crew), give him a purpose (help free the galaxy) and a specific skill set (Jedi training) only to kill him off in order to explain his absence for the rest of the Saga?Assuming Kanan gets killed – who will be left to train Ezra? Kanan is being developed from a reluctant do-gooder to a proud Jedi Knight, father / mentor figure to Ezra, Romantic interest of Hera, who is just as involved in the Rebellion. He was the same age as Luke and already trained, dark masters don’t normally want apprentices that rival their ability.Really?
