A grizzled tank commander makes tough decisions as he and his crew fight their way across Germany in April, 1945. Then Rafe volunteers to go fight in Britain, and Evelyn and Danny get transferred to Pearl Harbor. It's older and better.Considering that I've heard some pretty opposite views on it from multiple people and sources I don't think so. An American military advisor embraces the Samurai culture he was hired to destroy after he is captured in battle. It doesn't seem nearly as bad as most people make it out to be, though there are some parts that could have been done much better.Edit: You should check out Tora! Pineapple Express (2008) trailer.

I really do think that Michael Bay tried, he incorporated lots of dramatic elements into the film in an attempt make the next Titanic, but in the end it was messy and saccharine.I can understand that perspective.
