My copy looks like this, but does not have "Asfona" or the "El Disco es Cultura" logo on the cover. The female nude on the album cover was deemed inappropriate for the album’s U.S. release (November 1970), so a photo of the new line-up was used, putting Howe on the cover of an album on which he does not perform. Come in single cover, made of white glazed card with monotone images and black text. "Tempus Fugit" was taken from Drama (1980), Geoff Downes' first as a member of YES, while "Going For The One," "I've Seen All Good People" and "Siberian Khatru" are from some of YES' iconic mid-70s albums. The Box Set contains the following remastered albums with bonus tracks: Yes, Time and a Word, The Yes Album, Fragile, Close to the Edge, Tales from Topographic Oceans, Relayer, Going for the One , Tormato, Drama, 90125, Big Generator. If they wanted to, a listener could perceive this as the band wanting to get away from relying on covers, and getting them over with. This edition replicates the rare original German edition, featuring alternate mixes, tracklisting and front cover! Shop time & a word. Steve Howe replaced Peter Banks before the album’s release, which is why Steve appears on the cover of the American release, although he does not play on the album. It was the band's first album to feature guitarist Steve Howe, who replaced Peter Banks in 1970, as well as their last to feature keyboardist Tony Kaye until 1983's 90125.. Time and a Word was the follow-up to Yes' self-titled debut, and was pretty much on par. It sounds really good on the headphones and if I can figure out a good capture method, I may add it to my digital library for on-the-go enjoyment. Last not least... Leave the original US Yes LP with the band cover and get rid of that awful color photo with Howe on the cover cause that was a absolute sham... Look at the 2018 or 1970 front and back cover from Germany ... That's exactly how it should look. The band dabbled a little more in psychedelia back then, which is always enjoyable, but they still weren't the real deal (they only managed that on albums that had a Trevor in the band). I see the track content and order are unique, but is this really an alternates mix? Album Credits. Data Correct
WHERE ARE THE 1 INCH 8 MULTITRACK TAPES. According to Wikipedia, these particular mixes ended up on a Rhino reissue a few years back. No Opportunity Necessary & Sweet Dreams are not mixed the same. Each individual album comes in a gatefold sleeve that replicates the original LP packaging. Time and a Word is Yes’s second studio album. The title on the front cover is "The Yes" instead of "The Yes Album", although the spine bears the correct title; and the track "The Clap" appears as the third track on the second side.The album had a positive reception from critics. 1st german pressing with different cover.
If they found the 8 track 1 inch tapes and remixed this damn thing. I WANT YES !!! Yes’ second album is augmented by live orchestral arrangements by Tony Cox, and is the last album to feature the original band line-up. Just found this release on a road trip.
