Whether you love or hate him, there’s no denying that nobody does it quite like Tyler Perry. The American multi-talent has given us plenty of entertainment to enjoy over the years but many fans will argue that it never got better than House of Payne. This gem of a sitcom premiered back in 2006 and aired for an impressive eight seasons, even spawning a spin-off – The Paynes – which ran for 38 episodes.Audiences couldn’t help but become so comfortable with the Payne family over the years and the series’ absence has been truly felt since it concluded airing.Luckily, it has finally returned to screens for a ninth season and fans are already cherishing a TV event which many felt would never materialise. The cast is back and clearly having such a fantastic time bringing these characters back to us, but certain audiences are detracting from what should be a celebration…Sadly, there have been plenty of audiences on Twitter who have attempted to make negative comments about his appearance.Additionally, some have made assumptions with no evidence to support their tweets.Honestly, it’s just wonderful to see the actor back and enjoying his time as Malik once again. It’s also nice to see so many flock to Twitter and address why it’s so important to refrain from attacking somebody’s appearance.Nevertheless, it’s a shame that this still has to be acknowledged.A number of fans and audiences have been appalled by the tweets criticising the actor’s appearance. In response, they’ve tweeted out a number of respectful comments, with some rightfully pointing out just how damaging comments on the internet can be to somebody’s mental health.Everyone talking about Malik’s appearance on House of Payne …I thought y’all was just saying don’t judge nobody you don’t know what they going through soooooPeople are talking about the appearance of the actor who plays Malik from house of Payne and I’m just like did we learn nothing from Chadwick passing and not knowing what ppl are going throughY’all talking about how Malik from house of Payne look now like y’all wasn’t just saying “you don’t know what people going through” 5 days ago. Thank goodness for flashbacks!OK, OK: That Season 4 backhanded move he pulled regarding Rebecca and the clinical trial? Hate to see itI’m not saying anything is wrong with him but the same things y’all said about Chadwick y’all are doing to Doc Shaw who plays Malik on House of Payne. Here’s hoping Jennifer Morrison’s character will be back. Shaw was born in Atlanta, Georgia. Ron Cephas Jones’ character is so wise, endearing and effortlessly cool that his Season 1 death was a sad standout in a show full of Kleenex moments. Not gonna lie: We kinda hoped the troubled war veteran would turn out to be more than just a red herring in Season 4’s “Who’s Kevin’s Pregnant Future Fiancee?” storyline. And there’s no limit to our love for the characters of This Is Us — but there is an order. (And with parents like Darnell and Kelly, is that any surprise? Randall and Kevin’s sister, played by Chrissy Metz, easily could’ve let the taunts and traumas of her childhood take her down. Jack’s little sister is only this far down the list because we don’t know much about her yet, aside from the fact that she’s played by Adelaide Kane: The only appearance she’s made was in the Season 4 finale flash-forward that chronicled the birth of her nephew, Jack’s son. (What, we were talking about his angelic voice! He appeared in print ads and acted in television commercials. So when she realized she couldn’t provide that, she did a very hard thing and stepped out of the way, clearing the path for Randall and Beth’s adoption efforts. You never know what people are going throughI’m seeing a lot of tweets about Malik on House of Payne , I’d like to remind you about Chadwick Boseman and maybe let’s not talk about people’s appearance and let’s focus/talk about their talent … ok?If you’re a fan and fancy following him on Instagram, we have good news!He hasn’t posted since October 2019 so he’s essentially been inactive for just shy of a year.Perhaps he’ll find the time to post soon, but if not, we’re happy to see him back in his iconic role all the same.
BET officially reopened the doors to Tyler Perry’s Picking up nearly a decade after things left off, Wednesday’s two-part premiere found Malik (Larramie “Doc” Shaw) returning home from college with big news. )Teens-finding-themselves storylines can be torture on an adult drama, but Eris Baker’s character’s journey — particularly her Season 3 coming-out to her parents — has only endeared her to us more. Though we don’t know much about Jack Damon’s wife, played by Auden Thornton, there’s just something about her that’s very compelling.
